
Mr. Semih Tılfarlıoğlu graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1987 and subsequently completed his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Gaziantep University. He has devoted 38 years of his professional career to the beverage and packaging industries. Over the course of his career, he has carried out applications utilizing both conventional and advanced technologies in thousands of facilities across more than 70 countries on four continents—continuously acquiring new expertise while concurrently sharing his knowledge with professionals in the field.
Mr. Tılfarlıoğlu has held long-term leadership positions within the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB). As a Board Member of GÜSAM, the inaugural implementation of TÜBİTAK’s University-Industry Joint Research Centers Program (ÜSAMP), he contributed to the establishment of ÜSAMP regulations and to the effective structuring of university–industry research collaborations. He has served on numerous scientific congress organizing and advisory committees and has undertaken editorial responsibilities. His body of published work includes articles, papers, and opinion pieces presented at scientific congresses and symposiums or published in journals, books, and newspapers.
Since 2011, following his roles in quality management, technical support, and various other capacities at KÖKSAN, Mr. Tılfarlıoğlu has been serving as the Director of Research & Development and Business Development.
