Burcu Olcay Ustuner is the Chief Executive Officer at BAYEGAN, a global petrochemical trading and distribution company with a heritage dating back to the 1940s.

Burcu joined BAYEGAN in 2008 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Business Development Director in 2012. During her tenure, she established strong and long-term partnerships with leading global petrochemical suppliers and managed the marketing and sales activities of the company, contributing to the rapid global expansion of the business. She was appointed CEO of BAYEGAN in January 2024, where she leads domestic and international sourcing, trading, and distribution of petrochemicals, with operations in 120 countries. In her current role, Burcu’s responsibilities also include expanding the company’s business across the petrochemicals value chain and overseeing its rapidly growing manufacturing sector.

Burcu is a member of the International Trade Committee of The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA), representing the downstream hydrocarbon industry in the Arabian Gulf, with its more than 250 member companies. The scope of the committee is to monitor international trade practices and trade policy with regard to regulatory measures that affect GCC petrochemical and chemical producers’ access to market.

Burcu holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Koç University in Türkiye, and a Master's degree in International Management from the University of Exeter in the UK. She has also completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Beyond her professional life, Burcu is an accomplished basketball player.
