Dr. Abdullah Demirci was born in Istanbul in 1983. He graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Yıldız Technical University in 2007 and began working part-time in the Design Department of Mikrosan before completing his undergraduate studies. Demirci started his career as a Design Engineer and held positions as an R&D Engineer, Technical Manager and R&D Manager. With over 18 years of experience in plastic processing machinery production and polymer processing, he is presently the Deputy General Manager at Mikrosan.

In parallel with his professional career, Demirci completed his Master's and PhD studies at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Yıldız Technical University and earned his doctorate in 2022. In addition to scientific papers and patents on plastic processing machinery and related technologies, he has successfully managed five TÜBİTAK-funded projects.

Married and a father of two, Demirci is also passionate about playing drums and percussion and is actively involving in several music bands.
